TRS EKTOS is proud to announce that we have included the EN 50121-3-2:2016 and EN 50121-3-2:2016+A1:2019 standards in our accreditation scope. This enables us to carry out testing that meets the strict standards set out for requirements within the railway industry.

The EN 50121-3-2:2016 and EN 50121-3-2:2016+A1:2019 standards are crucial for railway applications on electromagnetic compatibility. Specifically, they address the compatibility of rolling stock apparatus with other electronic devices.

In simpler terms, these standards ensure that electronic equipment used in trains and other railway vehicles does not interfere with other electronic devices, and vice versa. This is essential for the safety and efficiency of railway operations, as any interference or malfunction could lead to serious consequences.

TRS is already testing according to EN 50121-4:2016+A1:2019 Railway applications – Electromagnetic compatibility – Part 4: Emission and immunity of the signaling and telecommunications apparatus.
