Hardware Design

Hardware design.

EKTOS develops unique and innovative hardware solutions with distinct features. Through component selection, calculations, circuitry optimization, and waste reduction, EKTOS optimizes manufacturing costs.

Electronics Development

From double-sided boards to 12 layers

With many years of experience in designing complex digital, analog, and mixed circuits, EKTOS designs range from double-sided PCBs to 12-layer PCBs. From low-frequency digital electronics to GHz-clocked digital processing modules.

We consistently achieve this by utilizing best-in-class CADs like OrCAD and Altium, but also supporting startups with EasyEDA and KiCAD.

Embedding electrical safety as a backbone of the designs delivered into the customer’s products is must requirement for any single piece of hardware.

For IoT products, this service also offers the following: Simulation, calculation, and practical matching, and adjustment of antennas up to 6 GHz is what the EKTOS team can deliver professionally.

Whether you are interested in a complex PCB antenna or a setup of patch antennas – we can get it all done. We leverage professional vector SAs and SGs to guarantee quality and cost-effective designs on antennas.

Our tight cooperation with both EMSes and EMCs gives us an advantage of embedding the requirements into the design of electronics in the very early stages.

This allows major time, money, and product ideas to change on the way to the market.

Also, our connection to the typetesting and approval bodies both internally in the EKTOS group but also externally – gives customers a transparent and certain product development feeling.
