Tools & Technologies

The toolset behind your automation

Siemens TIA Portal, Schneider EcoStruxure Machine Expert and Rockwell Studio 5000. We work in the platform your plant already runs, so maintenance can stay with your own people.

Ignition, Wonderware InTouch and FactoryTalk. Operators get one screen that shows the state of the line and lets them act on it without calling for help.

Ladder logic, function block diagram and structured text. We write in the language your own electricians can read, not only the one that is fastest for us.

Modbus, Profibus and IP-based networks. Older machines and new controllers talk to each other, so you do not have to replace equipment that still works.

Pilz PSS WIN-PRO and Siemens Safety Matrix. Safety functions are programmed and documented separately from the process logic, as the standards require.

Siemens PLCSIM Advanced and Rockwell Emulate. The program is tested against a simulated machine before it ever runs on the real one, which keeps commissioning short.

GE Digital’s iFIX and Honeywell Alarm Management Suite. Alarms are prioritised, so the ones that matter are not lost in a stream of warnings.

ABB RobotStudio and Fanuc ROBOGUIDE. Reach and cycle times are verified offline, so the robot cell is not tied up during programming.

ThingWorx and Microsoft Azure IoT. Machine data is collected in one place, which is what makes remote monitoring and predictive maintenance possible.

TeamViewer and VNC. Adjustments and support can be handled without a service trip, and downtime is measured in minutes rather than days.

Wireshark and Network Analyzer. When a machine drops off the network, we look at the actual traffic instead of guessing at the cause.

Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. Recipes, production logs and process data are kept in a database your own IT department can operate and back up.

MATLAB, Tableau and Microsoft Power BI. Production data is turned into something a plant manager can act on, without exporting spreadsheets by hand.

Git and SVN. Every change to the program is versioned, so a running line can be rolled back to a state that is known to work.

Visual Studio and Eclipse. The PC side of the solution is built in standard tools, so the code can be maintained by any competent developer.
